Logging into MAcbook

I lost my macbook password and don't know how to reset the same via apple ID but not able to. I cannot connect my laptop with internet because I changed internet provider and it has a new password username. Is there anyway that I can reset the password? I tried using every possible combination with keychain but not able to.
