How do I use my watch to unclock my MAC. IT suddnely stopped unlocking the MAC

I want to se my watch to unlock my MAC. It has in the past but stopped unlocking it. Is there a setting I need to change?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

After a few hours, my Mac seems to ignore muy watch again. I see the message 'Unlocking with Apple Watch' and then it disappears and I have to introduce password to unlock. Any fix for this? Thanks!

how to lock mac with apple watch so i have a really big problem... i can unlock my mac with my apple watch but once it is unlocked it can't be locked with my watch. it is very very VERY unsettling while others can use my mac without me knowing. SOLVE THIS PROBLEM PLEASE!!!???!!!??<3
