Why do some songs show on my Nano but do not play?

When I try syncing some songs, they show up on my Nano, but in my playlist, the skip over without playing. They play on my computer, and they appear to sync, but they don't play on my iPod.

Hello StillUsingMyNano,

If a song won't play on iPod, that generally means that it can't find the song file or there is a problem with the song file.

Turning off Sync Music in iTunes to remove all the songs, and then turning it back on to sync all the files back to the iPod generally will correct an issue like that.

Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer

If you're still unable to play certain songs on the iPod, we'd recommend contacting Apple for assistance: Get Support

Cheers!
