My USB-C 2m charging Cable by Apple has a very bad smell

I Just bought an orginal Apple USB-C 2m Charging Cable....very expensive for a piece of cable, probably "Made in China"....

It is impossibile to use it because it stinks, with a very bad smell. Also, if you touch the cable, it feels strange, sticky....

I never had such a problem with a Cable....

you have the right to ask for a replacement or refund at Apple if you bought it within 1 year.

This is really disgusting, because I know that it is a common problem with this type of cable
