Predictive text on iPad os 15.4.1

Since about 2021, the predictive text for iPad has seriously declined in accuracy: what once was so accurate, it was almost creepy, is now nearly useless. It appears to be especially problematic with respect to tense agreement. Will this be fixed in the future? (I don't want to abandon it, it's too useful when it does work.)
