Unable to turn on screen time restrictions
Every article I've found about turning on screen time says to "click Turn On" to fix it, but the Turn On button is greyed out. I can't click it. How can I fix this?

Hi mcsummitt,
Are you trying to turn on Screen Time for your personal device, or on a child's device using parental controls and Family Sharing? If the option is greyed out, it's possible there is a restriction enabled that is preventing you from making account changes. When you get a chance, check out Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and see if it helps.
Best regards.
mcsummitt,
Thank you for clarifying. Let's verify you have the correct date and time set on your Mac.
This article should help: Set the date and time on your Mac
Next, let's test in safe mode: How to use safe mode on your Mac
Let us know if anything changes.
Good Luck!
I'm trying to turn on Screen Time on my personal MacBook to block certain websites that tend to distract me at work so I can stay focused. I'm using the only admin profile to do it, and it's not giving me the option. I created a new profile called "Work" and it let me set up content restrictions in the settings of that profile, but they don't seem to be working as I can still freely access all of the "Restricted" sites.
