Can I use my Phonak Audéo Marvel 90RT hearing aids to connect to Live Listen on my iPhone SE3 running iOS 15.4.1? Live Listen page recognises the device when Bluetooth is connected and Background Sounds play OK but no way to connect the hearing aids to the microphone is shown.
Yes. Phonak have confirmed their hearing aids are not MFi compatible. They are pushing their own remote microphone Roger devices. https://www.phonak.com/nz/en/hearing-aids/accessories/roger.html I don't need yet another device.
I'm getting new hearing aids soon so will look at alternatives to Phonak for that reason.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. Bluetooth Classic is different than MFi hearing aids. I did not realize there was another device in the mix. Please post what solution you find.

Looks like Live Listen is only MFi compatible.
The device that is "R-Phonak Hearing Aid". That looks like it might be either an older Phonak aid or AirPod. Can you remove or disconnect that one from Bluetooth and reboot your iPhone and see if Live Listen detects your hearing aids? Also do you have a set of AirPods? The picture of live listen looks like AirPods.

I don't have any AirPods. The R (Right)-Phonak hearing aid is the lead device of the the two L & R hearing aids. For streaming and phone conversations it receives and transmits the Bluetooth Classic signal to the phone and connects, through my head, to the Left hearing aid. There is no streaming device identified if the R-Phonak hearing aid is not connected. The two LE connections are the Bluetooth LE links to the MyPhonak App on the phone that is used to adjust and control the hearing aids. These are only for that purpose and not streaming.
I've put up the question on the Phonak User Group forum. I'll post the replies I get back here.
My audiologist lets me try different brands for up to 2 weeks before I make my choice for purchasing. I hope yours does also. It is always an expensive decision and you should get what best suites your needs and wants.
When you go to Accessibility and select your hearing aids does your screen look like this picture?

Yes, I'm going to do two week trials of Octicon and Resound aids to compare with my Phonaks. I've only ever had Phonaks and can't really fault them other than the MFi Live Listen issue.
