M1 Pro crashing & restarting when connected to external monitor

My M1 Pro randomly crashes and restarts at least once when connecting to an external monitor (Dell S3221QS operating at 60 Hertz & resolution of 1920 x 1080). It usually happens when the monitor no longer picks up a signal from the HDMI source, I move mouse around on mac to find that its frozen and then it crashes and restarts. I have no idea what could be causing this. My mac works perfect when not connected to external source. I have included the crash report in this post. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
