M1 MacBook Pro Shuts Down Randomly

My new (2 months) M1 MacBook Pro shuts down randomly. It is only connected to an LG HDR 4K monitor. Other than that is has no external connections. It will randomly display a purple screen then shut down and restart. Given that it has happened while in the middle of critical work, I am hoping to find an answer that solves the problem.

Thanks

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

Hi,

Try to run Apple Diagnostics if it's caused by hardware related issue.

Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support

If it doesn't help, you'd better contact Apple Support or make Genius Bar reservation if your local retail Apple Store is open or find opened local Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Pro there.
