HDMI splitter for dual monitors

i have a early 2015 MBP. It has one HDMI port, 2 standard USB, and 2 thunderbolts ports. I want to hook up 2 external monitors to MBP and each monitor has one HDMI and one VGA. I don’t know but i’m assuming that I need a HDMI splitter with one HDMI going in and 2 HDMI going out. If this is correct, anyone have a recommendation of what splitter to buy?? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

If you use the HDMI Splitter, you will get same screen on the two monitors. You should connect one monitor via HDMI, the other via Thunderbolt2 to VGA adapter.
