Editing iOS safari bookmark URLs

How do I edit iOS safari bookmark URLs? I know how to add bookmarks, rearrange their order, assign them to specific folders, etc., but I cannot edit their URLs once the bookmark gets created!

Specifically, every time I try to add “https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/IOS_version_history” as a bookmark, safari drops the “m.” portion of the URL (i.e. Safari changes “https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/IOS_version_history” to “https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IOS_version_history”)!

Is editing iOS safari bookmark URLs (aka website addresses) possible?

iPhone SE, iOS 14

Tap and hold the bookmark you want to update: a menu will pop up containing, among other things, the Edit option.

After tapping Edit you can edit the bookmark's name and its URL.
