I Cloud says 511.5MB of 5 GB used but it will not allow back up. Each time I try it comes back and says not enough I cloud storage.

I cloud says 511.5 MB of 5Gb used but if I try ICloud backup I get after it runs for a bit it comes back and says not enough storage. All I have checked for back up is minimal messages contacts and a couple of others. Please let me know how to get this corrected. Thanks

Hello MarvinfromDenton, How Much space are you using on your device? If it is an IOS device go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > at the top line it will have Total Used and Total amount of device storage. If the total amount used is greater than 5G that is why you are getting message saying not enough storage. You will need to increase your iCloud storage amount.
