I have got a iPad Air it has stopped downloading latest software tried downloading manually but saying it is up to date I’ve only got ios12

Current: iOS 12.5.5, released September 23, 2021[2]

you will need a newer ipad if you want ios 13 and higher

Which iPad model do you have?

If this is an iPad Air, Model 4,2 A1475, built until 2016, it can't be updated further than iOS 12.5.5

If it is a newer iPad Air, did you try to update it, using the computer?
