Mail displays only the list, not the message.

The plot thickens - in Full Screen message preview was restored - but exiting full

screen produces a spinning beach ball - Force Quit terminates Mail and a restart makes

no difference in Mail behavior.

Mail is working normally now. It seems to have something to do with the

double lines at the bottom of message actually the center dot. I can't

reproduce the error. Clicking dbl lines lets you drag the (separator) up

& down the message list to reveal more or fewer messages but nothing

I can do hides the message preview as prev. my ginger came close with her

observation that adjusting the side view w/b desirable. Thank you both,

Sharhari - Slide Preview was already selected - just to be sure I toggled it and restarted Mail - but the full message displays only when I dbl-clik to open it up.

I restarted Mac too - nothing seems to make a difference. Is Mail damaged?

Sharhari, the issue continues in Safe Mode. The screen accompanying says to re-install the OS - what do you think?

I created a new user account but every time I click the lock to secure the new setting it reverts to my Admin account.

Even if it's set to allow the new user to administer the computer.

Actually my ginger there are a bunch of columns - will post picture.
