Very strange been sending emails to a friend but all of a sudden they are coming back saying mail demeon permanent error....But they can send an email to me and its only this one person. We have talked about it she does not know why...If I send from my iPhone its okay.. But from iMac they keep coming back...Is it her end? She does not know either...and why just her...

If you use contacts to get the email address. Go to contacts and remove the problem email address. Then in mail enter the email address manually when writing an email. See if it works. When you get a reply or have a reply. Go to Messages at the top and add to contacts.

When your Mac is unable to send email something has happened to either your outgoing user ID or password. Open Mail's Preferences and carefully check them and correct as necessary. If that doesn't work you can delete the account and then reenter it.
