Great. Perhaps Macworld will provide technical support.

From Apple's documentation:

Connect your display

Plug the included Thunderbolt cable into the Thunderbolt port on your display and to a Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, or USB-C port on your Mac or iPad.

Does your laptop have a Thunderbolt 3 or 4 port? iPad has firmware ready to negotiate sending video data over USB C, your PC laptop perhaps not so much.

So 6 is port that ought to work if were to work like a Mac. Then it depends on whether the graphics card is designed to chuck a compatible signal out of that port. It may only expect to use 9. A quick scan of HDMI to Thunderbolt adaptors at Amazon seems to show products that likely work in the other direction, Thunderbolt output to HDMI input. I see no obvious signs any of them are bidirectional.

I can get both 5 and 6 to get sound and use the camera for video conference, but the main display will not show. in windows it is registering the Studio Display with the name and recommended 5K resolutions and recommended size scaling to 200% given the amount of pixels. The AMD graphics card on the laptop also supports maximum 5K resolution, 32bit at 60Hz. Perhaps the apple display cannot work at 60HHz?
