If I delete and then reinstall my yahoo email app on my iphone will I lose any emails?

No, your email messages are stored into yahoo servers.

If, on your iPhone, you delete the yahoo app, restart the dvice, then reinstall that app, nothing happens to your email messages.

Be aware that you can also add your yahoo email account in Apple Mail app, as per these instructions:--> Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
