Scale text in Keynote?

Can it really be that there is no way to scale text by dragging in Keynote??

Just like in Indesign where holding down Cmd+Shift while dragging the corner of the text box will scale the text proportionally. (And just Cmd to scale non proportionally)

I know about the Cmd+ and Cmd- to change the textsize, but I want to just be able to grab the text box and scale the whole thing to my liking while keeping all proportions - naturally!

Yes - I know someone suggests just converting the text to a picture....so you can no longer edit the text?!!!!

Kind of not smart.

So - please anyone - short cut on how to scale text by dragging.

Even scaling a group won't do it. (Just like PowerPoint..which I thought we tried to move ahead of?!)

Whether in Pages or Keynote, Apple text boxes and shapes are not designed to automatically scale contained text as the container is dragged to a different dimension. This is the difference between free consumer-targeted applications and Adobe's InDesign focus which is focused on prosumers and professionals.

You can always send direct feedback to the Keynote product team from its application menu, as the product teams do not participate in these Google archived, user-supported, public communities.
