I have been having this issue as well, but only the day day or so and I updated my iPad over a week ago. I also have been unable to even get videos to even load. I get the same error message all the time, “We’re having trouble playing this video”. Does anyone else have this issue?
Ever since I updated my iPad mini 4 last week to 15.4.1 my Hulu would not play any shows or movies on my iPad. Now it will play but with no sound. Hulu works on all other devices. All other streaming services work perfectly on my iPad.
I was really hopeful that this would work for me- made sense- however tried it to no avail. My Hulu doesn't even want to play. That was an issue prior to trying this fix. It will spin for a long time then say "we're having trouble playing this title". Oh brother! Really renders my Ipad or my Hulu subscription obsolete! Thanks for trying!
All, relatively, iOS/iPadOS devices ARE completely compatible with the newest Hulu version!
I am running the latest iPadOS and Hulu version right now on a 6-1/2-year old iPad Pro.
My wife runs the recent version of Hulu on her 2020,,10.2 inch screen iPad 8th gen.
i am so sorry it’s happened to you too. I’ve tried all the suggestions on Hulu’s support page, of course nothing helped. Hulu wants me to believe it’s my iPad, but it’s definitely their app.
Same thing has been happening to me, no sound and stating it can’t play certain videos. And it works on my iPhone. Just not my iPad.

Now all of a sudden Hulu works perfectly this morning. Last night and for 5 days it would either crash or something play and not have sound.

I do - I have uninstalled and reinstalled Hulu- every since the update (that didn't benefit me in any way, Apple) I can't watch Hulu due to lack of sound
I have the same problem everyone else is having. Beyond frustrating when you pay for Hulu and can’t use it and no company will own up to the mistake. Corporate America at its finest.
What year and model iPad do you have/own?
Now you're asking the "hard" questions! I don't know the year but I know it's a 4. So far has been compatible with IOS upgrades
It's a mini. Which I figure will be out of date at some point. I wish they would redo the mini- it's a good size for work and travel
