giving back phone and need that apple id

I have an apple id that I need to change or at least change the email that goes with it.

I am turning in my work phone and the apple id is attached to this that has my work email and I no longer will be working there. What should I do for my new phone that is personal?

can't change ID I took over the iphone my wife had as she bought a new iphone. How do I change the apple ID associated with this old phone? I have an apple ID I use with itunes. How to change apple id in old phone so that I can erase it What is the trick to gaining access to your old iphones (so that I can wipe the memory and donate them) when I cannot remember the password to my old apple id. Since I had these devices, I have changed my apple id to a different email. The old devices seem stuck with the old id. Any ideas?

Try this ->Sign in to your Apple ID account page and edit your Apple ID details.

https://appleid.apple.com

-> change / edit the work email to your personal email.
