MacBook Air WiFi Connectivity problem

We have a new AT&T internet service (fiber) that it super fast & has worked fine until yesterday when Safe Haven/ADT installed the smart devices that came with our new home. (video doorbell, door lock, garage door opener, etc. controlled from the smartphone)

I was using the MacBook Air before the devices were installed & the internet connection worked fine. After the tech left, the internet connection failed and I found this report in the trouble log. The wifi indicator says it is connected to the internet but when I open Safari or Mail I get a "you are not connected to the internet message". Anybody know what would cause this?

Thank you. The MacBook Air is my husband's early 2014 model and is updated to the last version of Big Sur. He's not a big computer user and only does basic Safari searches and checks Mail. I'm concerned that my MacPro may encounter the same problem when I move it to the new house at the end of the month! I will run the diagnostics tomorrow when we're back at the new house.

I did spend 1 ½ hrs on the phone with AT&T today and the problem does not appear to be on their end. The service works perfectly on my iPhone, and the new smart devices Safe Haven/ADT installed are connected and working as expected. I was able to open the garage door from my iPhone to let our contractor into the house while I was at our rental home 15 miles away!

What I don't understand is why the Mac was working just fine prior to the installation of the new devices. Safe Haven uses the Alarm.com app that monitors the smart devices via our iPhones. I'm wondering if there might be a compatibility or security issue so I will call them tomorrow to trouble shoot.

I'll provide an update once we resolve the problem in the event anyone else has similar issues!

Regards,

Angie
