I got my brother's old macbook, so I thought I should change the user name & pw. But when I restart, my brother's name still appears, but my new pw worked. I can't modify the settings because it will prompt me for the user name & pw. The one I made or my brother's username & pw doesnt work anymore. Help please.

Thank you. I tried this with the assistance of apple service center here in our area. But, unfortunately they don't seem to know how to go about it :( Anyway, i just had it reformatted.
