Sidecar turns on by itself on iPhone

I recently noticed that my phone turns itself on and lights up when the screen is locked. When I open it, it tells me that the Sidecar app is on. As far as I know Sidecar can only be used on iPad and Mac. I did not download this application on my iPhone. However, the screen of the Sidecar application is pure black, it only displays the "Donе" option in the upper right corner. I checked and in fact this application is not installed on my iPhone. I don't understand why the app turns itself on like this.

Please, have in mind that I do not own an iPad device and there are no iPad devices near me, only Mac devices.

Is this a bug or something else might be happening with the iPhone?

No idea about that, since I've never read about Sidecar working on iPhones (perhaps unless they are jailbroken? ).

Thank you for the reply. I’m not sure what jailbroken means. I bought my iPhone to where I could go with any carrier I want that’s what you mean. Recently I’ve noticed that my hotspot seems to be turned on and I don’t have any other devices using my Apple ID. I can’t really get an answer out of Apple Support either.

Apple support worked with me for a long time and then just pretty much said that it just couldn't be.

Happens to me too, I just noticed the name sidecar as I switched to another app instead of tapping done, no content was displayed inside the message dialog.

My device has not been jailbroken
