Apple Watch cellular connectivity

I see a weird error(Connection Failed) which Apple or AirTel (my carrier@India) is unable to diagnose.

Hence this situation ends up in playing a blame game between the duo.

I’m able to pair my Cellular watch series 7, but unable to activate mobile data. My carrier plan is just apt for the Apple cellular watch.

I’m using an iPhone 12 Pro Max for pairing it with my watch, and yes when paired with Wi-Fi & Bluetooth, calls, sms work fine.

Hope my problem solves here.

Thanks,

Steve

Hello Sun-shines,

Have you tried Make sure that you have the latest software on your iPhone and your Apple Watch.

1) Check for updates to your carrier settings.

2) Make sure that you have an eligible cellular service plan with a supported carrier. Your iPhone and Apple Watch must use the same carrier,* and you must be within your carrier's network when you set up cellular on your watch.

3) If you have an enterprise or corporate cellular service plan, check with your company or carrier to see if they support this feature. Pre-paid accounts and some older accounts aren’t currently supported. To make sure that your account is eligible, contact your carrier.

* An Apple Watch that you set up for a family member can use a different carrier than your iPhone uses.
