I did not try to shut it off with the home and power button my fear will not be able to restart it, I need to recover my pics and password did not sabed in the cloud , I can feel the rest of the Ipad seems ok any suggestions I try with a connector on a monitor but nothing showing up , I am desperate, Chris

We, just users like you, cannot diagnose that kind of issue remotely, sorry.

Most likely, after the fall, the screen or other internal component have been damaged, and you can't do anything without interacting with your iPad screen (probably you underestimated the risks of not creating a full backup of your device on a regular basis).

In such a situation, I suggest that you make an appointment (*) explaining your problem and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

Regards

Giulio

thanks Julio , finally I went to apple store they say you need a new one and will loose everything …. but did not really checked my ipad …. I went to a specialized repairs store , they found it was the screen backlit the ipad was still alive and they were able to transfer everything from the old to the new one. So if you have ipad pro don’t give up on it you need a good apple handyman …. thanks , Chris
