App can't be deleted or accessed?

Hi all,

So I have found an app which I had deleted a while back now but it still seems to come up on storage management . It's still displaying a size so I imagine that it is still taking up space on my disk. Anyway to get this sorted?

Thank you

Jay

You may have uninstalled it only partially. The two times I've done this I reinstalled the apps and used the app AppCleaner to more completely uninstall the apps. Worked perfectly for me in both instances. AppCleaner is free, safe and effective.

You can check to see if you've removed all of the supporting files for that app by downloading and running the shareware app Find Any File to search for any files with the application's or the developer's name in the file name.  For XXXX software you'd do the following search(es):

1 - Name contains XXXX

Any files that are found can be dragged from the search results window to the Desktop or Trash bin in the Dock for deletion.

FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages.
