Navigation for iPhone 13 Pro Max

Hi, I just purchased a 13 promax and I love it, but I’m having some issues with Apple CarPlay. Siri will look for directions to an address, but then Siri just turns off and I never actually get directions. I am able to get them using my keyboard, but I travel a lot, and have money destinations, and I love the Siri feature. Any solutions? Thank you in advance!

Thank you! Miraculously, when I was using maps in Car Play yesterday, I was asked if I wanted to improve Maps and I chose ALLOW. Problem solved!
