Remote control of iOS devices

I am sure I am not the only one who has to help older parents and less tech-savvy acquaintances and relatives with their iPhone or iPad. I have installed a couple apps that allow for screen sharing (TeamViewer, AnyDesk) but none of the apps allow for remote control.

I have been told by a few sources that this is part of iOS and remote control is simply unavailable.

In past I have helped my mother with her computer (a PC) using TeamViewer and that has worked out very well.

Are there any plans to incorporate some form of remote control or capacity to allow for remote control as an option in iOS in future?

Thanks.

You are addressing this to another user and not to Apple in this forum.

Thanks. I will move most of my query to another forum to address Apple.

Please note that the two apps I mentioned are both "remote desktop" apps (TeamViewer and AnyDesk). I have tested them with other devices here in the house and though one can easily see the iPhone screen being connected to, it is not possible to control that iPhone remotely.

Some apps do allow for connection and control if both devices are on the same wifi network, but this will not work in my case as my mother lives about 1000 miles from me.

I also have this question, my parents are both older as well, and for the most part Apple products work well for them. However, when it comes to installing a new app or sometimes navigating or needing help with something that isn't their iMac or MacBook (both of which TeamViewer works fine after initial setup) there isn't a workable solution to be able to help with their iPads or iPhones remotely, that doesn't require the tedious task of telling them where to click or what to enter, sometimes they're fingers don't work as easily, or they mistype things (A LOT)
