How can I move an individual bookmark in OS11.6.5 to a different folder in the “Edit Bookmarks” menu?

I used to be able to arrange or move bookmarks into new folders in the "Edit Bookmarks" menu easily, but I just updated my OS to 11.6.5 and I've lost that ability. What are the new methods for moving bookmarks in OS11.6.5?

Safari Bookmarks Hi all, Running latest version of Catalina and Safari. I installed Catalina from scratch, and imported bookmarks from High Sierra. The import was successful, but now I have to click on Bookmarks in the main menu bar, then go down to the Imported folder and click on the right-facing arrow to see my bookmarks. I want to be able to click on Bookmarks in the main menu bar and see all my bookmarks without having to go to the Imported folder. I've looked in Edit Bookmarks and can't see any way to do it there. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

Safari bookmark FOLDER organization I simply want to rearrange my bookmark folders so they appear in alphabetical order (just to be clear I am not referring to the actual bookmarks, but folders that I have created). I have tried clicking on and dragging a folder to another location, but it becomes a subfolder! I have looked on the web, but the only answers I find are for sorting actual bookmarks. Any ideas?

Adding bookmarks to folders I have just started using Safari after being a Firefox user for years. In Firefox I could hit cmd-D and then select the folder I want to put the bookmark in from the left-hand panel. I have lots of folders and sub-folders. If I want to put the bookmark in a sub-folder then I click on the main folder to open it, then I can click again to close it. All my main folders are visible in one column on the screen as sub-folders are hidden. However if I do this in Safari, when I click cmd-D every folder and sub-folder is open, so in order to select the correct folder I may have to scroll down and down and down until I find it. This is just ridiculous. Is there no way to close the folders while saving a bookmark? I can open and close folders when using Safari, so why can't I do that while saving a bookmark?
