iTunes Match vs Apple Music in the Cloud

If I discontinue my iTunes Match subscription, will my unique material survive in my Library on all my devices?

I love Apple Music, but it doesn't always have ALL the titles that I have, including music I've created.

Will matched files in my itunes library be deleted if I unsubscribe from apple music? I have a lot of music files that I have transferred to my itunes library over the course of 6+ years. I noticed that some of these files are marked as 'matched' and others as 'uploaded'. Is it correct that if I unsubscribe from apple music I will lose access to any un-downloaded matched songs? If I download matched songs from the cloud before unsubscribing from apple music, I will still have access to these songs and can then sync them across my devices? Apple One with iTunes Match We are considering Apple One with Music +, but we have stayed away from Music + because we have hundreds of CDs, some of which are definitely not in Apple's music library (e.g. purchased from street performances or students at university performances). We have been using iTunes Match for many years. What happens to our iTunes Match and personal library when we join Apple One? What happens if we later decide to discontinue that? Do we lose our personal music library?

iTunes Match I subscribed to iTunes Match for a few years to ensure that I could add music to my iPad and iPhone that I had burned from CDs onto my MacAir. All of that burned content is now on my devices and I no longer use that method to purchase music - I purchase tracks from the iTunes Store. Do I need to continue my iTunes Match subscription? I don’t subscribe to Apple Music.

Hi,

You don’t need a separate iTunes Match subscription as Apple Music includes iTunes Match features. Both use iCloud music library and the change will be seamless.
