AltTab Mac OS app not working from Desktop screen because of Google Chrome

So I got this AltTab app for window/tab switching at it works great except when I'm viewing the desktop and have Google Chrome open. When I'm viewing the desktop pieces of Chrome appear on the sides:

How can I remove this? Because as soon as I hide (command + H) Chrome those disappear and the AltTab app works. (I don't want to have to command + H Chrome all the time just to have it gone from desktop)

MacBook Pro (2020 and later)

Use such things at your peril. macOS already incorporates a variety of options to switch between apps and desktops.

I've removed chrome and the issues has nothing to do with the black border around the screen, the black border seems to be some kind of a quick way to reopen all windows when I mouseover it
