Two phones, one ID - mirroring

I have a work and a personal iPhone, different numbers but same Apple ID.

i want to delete personal photos/apps etc from the work iPhone. Will my personal phone be affected on the next iCloud sync, or can I have different apps/photos etc on the different devices?

If Both iPhones are associate with the Same Apple ID and both are signed into the same Account - yes it will affect the other iPhone
