Apple ID's

I have multiple kids and they each have their own iPad. When they were set up a long time ago, they were set up using my Apple ID, so now all of them use my Apple ID. I was going to go and give them each their own email and Apple ID and then connect through family sharing. My worry is all my kids losing their apps or progress in the app they currently have. Will creating their own Apple ID delete apps or mess with the progress they have in games like Minecraft, Animal Crossing, etc?

If you set up Family Sharing, the kids will retain access to their apps s long as you ensure Purchases Sharing is turned on.

Family Sharing and Apple ID for your child.   *

Set up - your child’s iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.   *

For the games, as long as they do not sign out of the games, they should retain their progress.
