iCloud service was disabled for iOS10.3.3 suddenly late at night on April 6 in Japan time.

iCloud service was disabled for iOS10.3.3 suddenly late at night on April 6.

My photo stream and memo is not synchronized for iOS10.3.3 device.

Even my profile picture does appear on top of iCloud, and I am asked to enter my password for re-login, but never allowed to do so.

Awaiting for iCloud server is fixed still.

Thank you very much for your information!

I expected them to find out the cause and solution, because the following site shows their

System requirements for iCloud still covers these iCloud services officially.

Today I investigated my iPad Air2 (iOS10.3.3), then found the calendar was updated, also just one memo on notes was updated, because I updated some data for those on my new iPad9 (iOS15.4.1).

Partially it is delayed in updating.

Any photo data was not updated on my photo stream.

It is really tricky.

I would hold my old iOS10.3.3 as it is to keep using my useful old application.

The credit doesn’t go to me but thanks anyway. The solution was already suggested in 2020 I think…

Thanks to a MacRumors member for the link and solution… The certificate solved a different bug in 2020 however.

Hi I just had an hour long talking with one of the Apple specialists regarding this issue and they now ask me to do a full restore for the iPhone from My computer, they are still not fully convinced this is their system glitch, so for anyone is having the same issue, can you please try this restore measure with me as well? So I can share the information with them and hopefully in the Followup of this incident they can be convinced this is a system glitch and not our devices issue, then proceed to engineer to come up with a solution. Thank you very much!

Thank you very much for your follow up.

However it is impossible for me to restore from my Windows 7.

I was not able to backup my iPad and iPod touch so long through old itunes 12.6.2.20 on my PC with different error these several years. Only iTunes data synchronization worked for my old iOS.

I just wanted to keep iOS10.3.3, itunes 12.6.2.20 and Windows7 environment for my useful local 32 bits application. This application is not on App Store anymore.

My PC is also too old to upgrade to Windows10 with the latest version of itunes.

So it seems I may need to leave the above old environment with iCloud service as it is, and on the other hand, I may need to prepare for the latest environment for iOS and iTunes with the latest Windows PC newly…

I got another information from one of iOS9 users on twitter.

It sounds iOS9 or earlier versions were not influenced by this iCloud issue this time.

Latest update on this,

An Apple senior advisor told me that since most of the devices running this IOS version are no longer supported by Apple, so it is likely that the Apple engineer will not try to fix this (neither by putting a bug fix for our device, nor investigating this on their server). If we somehow find a newer device (i.e. iphone6 on ios10), this may be escalated to the engineer but the possible fix would be the advice to upgrade the phone to the latest ios system, instead of giving us a bug fix to the current ios10.

So that probably means we will need to find other solutions by ourselves at the moment, either by upgrading the system (if applicable), or by getting a new device or somehow downgrading the system back to ios9 or even 8, which still has a functional icloud service.

Good luck!
