I've been told by a home generator vendor, that their (firmware installation/update controler) software for macOS is no longer useable because Apple no longer supports third party control of the USB driver. Does anybody know if this is a true statement?
Certain types of kernel extensions are no longer supported.
This is not "new". Sounds like the developer just never bothered to update their software for compatibility with the current version of macOS.
