Etrecheck pro report - Help
Hi every one.
I just made this report with Etrecheck pro. Is there anyone who can tell me what to do to keep my computer from slowing down? It gets hot quickly and it is slow very often.
MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.0

The current stable release of Monterey is macOS 12.3.1 —I would start there

You don't say under what conditions, what you are doing, what apps are launched...?
Old issue, new issue, what changed?
<OneDrive Launcher>
One Drive is known to cause some issue
<Avira Phantom VPN>
VPN are known to cause some issue
< /Applications/Steam.app>
Steam has been known to cause issues
To trouble shoot further you can:
—SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
Takes a bit longer to get to the login screen, does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc.
Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.
In Safe mode third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled, it removes malware, etc hampering smooth operation, however a reboot will put it back to normal mode.
This test will tell you if third party interference; extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.
—Test issue in another user (or guest user) account Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac - Apple Support
This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.
Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus
all known to cause issues on the macOS

Take whatever you were doing with your hosts file, or network filtering, and uninstall it. I'm not sure what that is, so I can't give you specific instructions. Either you filled your hosts file full of corrupt entries or you had some software do it on your behalf. Either way, your low-level networking is now seriously degraded.
