guys, I am trying to add transitions in " /Users/username/Movies/Motion Templates.localized/Transitions.localized", but its not showing up on final cut pro x.
My movies folder didnt have Transitions folder so I created one with .localized extension.
Any help will be appreciated.
.moti is a title not a transition. .motr is a transition.

You need a category between the Transition folder and the transition itself, either an existing category or a new one. Post a screenshot of the filepath in column view.
