Triple-clicking Side button does not turn Touch Accommodations off

On iOS 15.4 the directions for Touch Accommodations say:

You can triple-click the Side button at any time to turn Touch Accommodations on or off

I can triple-click the Side button to turn the Touch Accommodations off, but when I triple-click the Side button to turn them on, it never works.

I’m using this as way to mitigate the ghost touch issue I’m facing occasionally with my iPhone XS Max.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Hi loopy888, We appreciate you reaching out to us. We understand that you are experiencing issues enabling Touch Accommodations.

We’d like to gather additional details that may help us be in a better position to assist you.

Do you have other Accessibility features enabled?

Does it help if you disable the features, then enable them again?

In the meantime, we recommend that you check for a software update.

While it isn't inherently assured that an update will resolve the issue, updating to the latest software version for your device can help isolate potential software issues.

Kindly secure a backup and update.
