My HomePod is not able to find any music when asked.

My HomePod is not able to find any music when asked. It will stream from phone. Clearly this has happened in the past and been fixed. Posting here so Apple might see and fix for us again.

Home App shows HomePod as not playing When I'm outside and check my HomePod I can start or stop playing music, but it shows as not playing and I can't see the song playing, choose another one or control the volume, I remember that was possible before. Is there a way to fix this?

Media playback doesn’t transfer to HomePod Everything is on the same Apple ID and on the same WiFi. I have Apple Music. No music nor podcast playback continues on my HomePod when I hold the iPhone over it. It can happen that the speak starts playing something else, i.e. the previous music I played earlier. This seems to be a unsolved issue because I read another post from 2019 bringing up the same issue.

First thing to try is to power cycle your router and then your HomePod and see if that helps.
