My callers can't hear me when I called using the default Phone application in iPhone 7.

Let's get your iPhone updated to the latest iOS 15.4.1 using the steps below:

1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.

2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.

3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.

4. If you see two software update options available, choose the one that you want to install.

5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

That should help to further isolate a potential software conflict.

Should that behavior still persist, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support: Contact Apple Support They'd be in the best position to look into this further.

If you suspect a corrupt phone app...

Backup, restore to factory, and restore from backup

If you can import your media to Photos or iTunes in a computer and copy important documents to a cloud server it will give you some resilience in case the restore from backup fails, or you need to ditch the backup and start as new.

(3) Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

If the problem remains then do step (2) again but set up as new without restoring any backup. You would need to rescue your data from wherever you safeguarded it but you will lose all message history.

If that fixes it then it is probably a rogue setting.

Otherwise arrange a repair

WhatsApp and voice memo do not use the cellular carrier.

Check for carrier update in Settings, general, about .

Take the SIM out and put it back while the phone is on.

Then contact your carrier help desk.

Borrow a SIM card and try using the secondary line. That will eliminate the carrier.

I am using an eSim. My carrier advised me to contact Apple as this is not an issue from their side. IMO the issue is the micro/phone app, not the carrier.

I gave you the options for reloading the app by backup and reset to factory. If that fails, like I said, get the phone looked at or repaired.

The other 500 million users didn't have this problem.

I do have the same issue after the recent updates of iOS 15.
