Is it harmful to leave the MagSafe charger attached to my phone while it's unplugged?

I recently got a stand that holds the MagSafe charger and therefore props my phone up, and it's great. I want to use the stand, but I don't need it to charge all the time; is it safe (in general and for battery health) to leave the phone attached to an unplugged MagSafe charger? My only concern would be the effects of the magnets on the phone or any weird charge going back and forth between the phone and charger.

Greetings jackuzzi,

An iPhone has MagSafe accessories that are meant to be connected at all times such as the iPhone Leather Wallet with MagSafe. So leaving the device connected to the charger, even unplugged, shouldn’t pose an issue.

Also, if you’re not familiar with Optimized Charging, your iPhone will learn your charging habits and only charge the device’s battery to 80% until you need the battery at 100%. Here’s more information on how that works - About Optimized Battery Charging on your iPhone.

Thanks.
