Mag Safe charger

If I unplug my mag safe charger stand, can I simply use it as a holder or stand for my iPhone? Or could the magnetic field in some way harm my phone?

Yes, you can. There would be no more danger than using the popular pop-socket handles or any other accessory that attaches via magnets - of which there are many on the market.
