Driving Focus

Why do text messages come through even when Driving Focus is turned on. Auto reply message is also not sent.

If you already tried (to no avail) ALL the steps provided in this support article:--> Use the Driving Focus on your iPhone to concentrate on the road, I suggest that you contact Apple Support directly, using this link:--> Get Support

Yes I did try all the steps. It worked fine on my previous iPhone. But on this new 13 it is set up to work but does not. I have my husband message me and it comes straight through even with Driving Focus on.
