Hello,
I'm formatting a book and all the instructions are for MS Word. I could do almost all in Pages, but I got to the last two items, Crop Marks and Embedded Fonts.
I understand Pages doesn't create crop fonts, so I need to remove them, but there is no need, correct?
Is there any way to embed fonts?

I think fonts are usually embedded when you export to PDF format for printing on paper.
The free office clone LibreOffice can embed fonts in a word format doc.

Ok, I guess I will have to use another program to publish the book. I can do most of the stuff in Pages but I need to ask a friend to do the last steps in MS Word. Or pay few hundred dollars and do it myself...

You didn't answer Tom Gewecke's question about the final book format: print, or digital. In either case, you need to know the requirements for the final output before you create it, whether a professional printer or publisher because that information will determine the correct tool that you use to create the content.

I'm formatting the book for both, paper in Amazon POD and Kindle/EPUB.
I'm just following KDP University instructions, but they are for MS Word.
