Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter

Hi,

I´m trying to connect an audio interface (Behringer U-phoria UMC204HD) to my Iphone 13 pro in order to record audio and videos with a better sound quality. I was attempting to use 2 channels (guitar and mic) when recording with iphone camera. I tried to do so by using a Lightning to USB3 Camera Adapter but its not working as i expected.

It seems that the iphone does not "recognize" the interface signal. The iphone´s mic is doing all the work. Same as always.

Ii have no experience with the Behringer U-phoria UMC204HD.

Threads addressing similar issues claim that a powered USB hub could help:
