how to reverse a video clip in fcp?

I know how to reverse a clip in fcp. In this below mentioned image, I've got a footage of traffic... and i want to reverse in such a way that, on the road vehciles will be traveling as they are, like going forward. But in the side view mirror of the car, vehicles should be going backwards like reverse clip. But when I convert it into reverse... the clip playing from the end point to starting point (that's how actually reverse clip works). But I need it to play in reverse from starting point to ending point... does anybody know hoe to do it... please help me find a way to edit as I thought off...
