That is, I believe, the repeat icon. Depending on context, it will repeat the song, album or playlist


Apple Random play does what it says (I think) - randomly plays your songs. Random play icon is a type of open ended infinity loop with arrows on the right side:

That's the shuffle icon. It will play a (pseudo) random selection of songs.

So, does Autoplay, play your songs in an order based on a progression of 'similar' songs and Random play, plays songs based on no algorithm - truly random? Is this correct??


And if this is the case, what happens if you click on both icons (that both Autoplay and Random play are both running at the same time)?
