SSL 2 doesn't work on Monterey

Hi,

I upgraded to a MacBook Air (m1, 2020) using Monterey 12.3.1 and I just cannot make my SSL 2 usb audio interface work. I am using an apple usb hub (usb/HDMI/usb c). The hub itself seems to work, as I can use an external usb mouse connected to the hub. When I connect the audio device the lights keep blinking and there is a popping sound coming from my headphones. The computer does not detect the audio interface.

The audio interface works fine with my older MacBook Pro. According to Solid State Logic, the SSL 2 should work fine on m1 Macs and does not need any additional driver.

I have rebooted the computer, as well as tried other things (as changing the usb cable) but nothing seems to work.

I appreciate any help to solve this issue.

Best regards

Thank you! That solved it.

I tried with a usb-c to usb-a adapter, as the MacBook Air doesn't have usb-a, and it worked. It still doesn't work via the hub, however.

Best regards
