Why can’t I connect my iPhone to my Sony tv screen mirroring

I am trying to connect my iPhone to Sony android tv via screen mirroring but it keeps loading and never show the tv

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 15

Does the TV support AirPlay? If it does, check with the manufacturer. If it does not, you will not be able to mirror.
