How to search my Library in ibooks

It does not appear iBooks on my iPad enables me to search my book library? There is no pull down search function in my Library view. I can defiantly search the bookstore as that function is enabled in the settings. I am not able to filter the search for what is already in my Library which is odd and frustrating. I would greatly appreciate you help.
